A cosy wedding
In November we had a very nice wedding at SCH: a small wedding ceremony in our chapel, typical Scottish food, about 40 guests and a very happy couple. It was nice to welcome them and to see that they really enjoyed that day. Though for me the best part was not the wedding day but the wedding organisation and preparations. Our creativity and new ideas were appreciated. It was not the first wedding at SCH but the first "difficult" one because
at the same day there was another group which had lunch almost at the same time. So we set up the conference room as a dining room for them and the dining room was set up for the wedding.
It was a very busy and crazy afternoon but at the same time it was so great to see people being happy!

The bride looked really beautiful, though my attention was more on the male guests of the wedding because all men wore kilts and that is definitely strange for people from foreign countries, like me. I know this might sound weird but I like men in kilts because they do look so Scottish! It is a very nice tradition and all the people respect it. And we four girls from different parts of the world can enjoy it here in Dunblane, where it feels like home.
I have seen a lot of weddings before but I have never been part of a wedding organisation team and I can say that this is a unique experience. Maybe I will use some ideas for my own wedding someday. In my home country Armenia people usually have big weddings with about 300 guests, but they do not have that cosy feeling as it was in our small chapel.

We are going to have another wedding soon, a bigger one. We will host 80 people and will do our best for them to enjoy that special day and remember it with love. I am looking forward to start the wedding preparations.
See you
Agnesa
