The Angel’s Question: A Lenten Retreat

Time:
2 March 2010 - 5:00pm - 4 March 2010 - 5:00pm

Angel.jpgThe biblical story of Hagar’s desert encounter with an angel provides the backdrop for a consideration of our own faith journeys and, in particular, the chance to explore the angel’s question, ‘Where have you come from and where are you going?’

Drawing on literature, poetry, psychology and spirituality, this lent retreat will appeal to all who, on their journey, have encountered pastures green, stumbling blocks, dead ends and bright horizons.

Dilly Baker is an Anglican Priest in North Yorkshire and runs ‘The Open Table’, fusing spirituality and personal development. She runs workshops and retreats across the country and is author of ‘A Place at the Table’.

Cost per person: single en-suite £170 or shared en-suite £150

The Retreat will begin with dinner at 6.00 pm on Tuesday 2nd March
(arrivals from 5.00 onwards),
and end with afternoon tea at 4.00 pm on Thursday 4th March
(depart at 5.00 pm).
