Grasping Nettles: Carbon Footprints and Creative Possibilities

Time:
2 December 2009 - 5:30pm - 9:00pm
Location:
Scottish Churches House

With Ninian Stuart
Director, Falkland Centre for Stewardship

Ninian will share his perspective on the transformative journey taking place on and beyond an old, once feudal, estate.  Then he and we will explore the impact of our carbon footprints on the wider world and the challenges this raises for a Christian's understanding of stewardship.

Ninian had a career in community social work, in Glasgow housing schemes.  He returned to Falkland Estate in the 1990s to work with others to revive a landscape, build community and mind the future of this "hidden place".

Starting at 5.30 p.m. with an evening meal and concluding at 8.40 p.m.

Cost (including meal and coffee/tea break)  £15.00
