Welcome to Inscape

Inscape is our publication from Scottish Churches House.  It combines the House Programme for the next period with News Items about the House.  There are two issues so far, and we hope that there will be further editions of Inscape in due course.

Why ‘Inscape’?

The word was coined by the poet, Gerald Manley Hopkins, to mean that unique, distinctive quality signifying God’s presence within each of us.  We believe that Scottish Churches House is a place where we each may explore our own and others’ distinctiveness in open and diverse ways.
