Welcome to Inscape

Inscape, our new publication from Scottish Churches House which combines both the House Programme for the first part of 2009 with news items about the House.

A new edition of Inscape will be issued in the summer of next year.

Why ‘Inscape’?

The word was coined by the poet, Gerald Manley Hopkins, to mean that unique, distinctive quality signifying God’s presence within each of us. We believe that Scottish Churches House is a place where we each may explore our own and others’ distinctiveness in open and diverse ways.
