*Retreats are led by the Epiphany Group, a group of women and men working ecumenically across Scotland, committed in their work in Ignatian spirituality to being a force for transformation, and prayerful and supportive community.
with Dilly Baker & Alison Thompson
Tues 17 to Thurs 19 March
An opportunity to share thoughts and experiences of what it means to come
home – to ourselves, to one another and to our God. Participants are encouraged
to bring extracts from novels or poetry that resonate with the theme.
with John & Olive Drane
Tues14 to Thurs16 April
An exploration of how faith may be contextualised in post-modern
culture through the renewal of personal spirituality and church life.
In a highly interactive experience, based on our own homes, we visit
different rooms to offer a creative combination of insights from
the Bible and the wider Christian tradition with space for personal
reflection and renewal. This is a version of a highly acclaimed course
which John & Olive teach at Fuller Theological Seminary in California.
Our new monthly series presents an opportunity for open-ended conversation to stimulate and challenge us. On the first Wednesday of the month, we explore theology underpinning difficult issues that confront church and society today.
The general pattern from 5.30 to 9.00pm:
light evening meal, presentation / questions / break / discussion / night prayer
in our beautiful medieval chapel. Cost is £15 per conversation or our special
offer of £50 for all four events in our Spring Programme.
