Retreats

Retreats at Scottish Churches House

Retreats are a time for listening to God; of coming to know God and self more; a time to stand back and review; to consider some decision or change in life.

Individually Guided Retreats are an experience of prayer and reflection made over a number of days.  Each day there is the opportunity to speak with a retreat guide who then offers material and guidelines for further prayer.  The prayerful silence in which these retreats are held is helpful in coming to a deeper sense of God's relationship with us.

Epiphany Group

Retreats are led by the Epiphany Group, a group of women and men working ecumenically across Scotland, committed in their work in Ignatian spirituality to being a force for transformation, and prayerful and supportive community.  The Epiphany Group provide retreats based in our Self-Catering accommodation in Leighton House.  You can find a list of dates for these more reflective retreats at www.epiphanygroup.org.uk and bookings are made through the Epiphany Group.

Upcoming Retreats
