Retreats at Scottish Churches House

Retreats are a time for listening to God; of coming to know God and self more; a time to stand back and review; to consider some decision or change in life.

Individually Guided Retreats are an experience of prayer and reflection made over a number of days. Each day there is the opportunity to speak with a retreat guide who then offers material and guidelines for further prayer. The prayerful silence in which these retreats are held is helpful in coming to a deeper sense of God's relationship with us.

This year Scottish Churches House will collaborate with the Epiphany Group to offer the following Lenten and Summer Retreats which are Individually Guided Retreats in the peaceful surroundings of Leighton House. The Advent Retreat will be a teaching retreat with daily presentations made by Fr Gerry Hughes.
